April Bank Barn Escapades
Ordering online isn't available on Sundays
This event is a throwback to my own childhood. I have many happy memories of playing for hours in the bank barn, and now you get to experience it as well! This event was purposely planned for the Easter Monday to enable your whole family to be able to come!
The adventure begins as you run up the barn hill and step inside the loft. A traditional barn swing beckons the country spirit within you to hop aboard and swing away the worries of this fast paced life. Farther in, a crew is already at work excitedly creating a tunnel and private castle with small straw bales. A sign above the door of an old grainery reads “Meadow Song Nursery”. As you step inside, the quiet, cozy sounds of baby animals welcome you. From little ducklings to baby kittens, or whatever baby animals we happen to be nursing at the time, this is your chance to snuggle, cuddle, pet and pose with them.
After an hour and a half of cherishing some good ole country highlights, it’s time to board the tractor and wagon and take a half hour cruise around the countryside letting the spring breeze blow all the straw out of your hair.
Upon returning to the farmyard again, there is nothing more appealing than sitting down to a farmer’s meal of one of our signature wraps, available for purchase from Meadow Song Kitchen our little food trailer, made of course with meat from our own animals.
Before heading home, don’t forget to browse Meadow Song Market, our little farm store/gift shop to find some clean, nutritionally dense meat to stock your freezers and some keepsakes to forever remind you of your escapade with Meadow Song Adventures.
Please remember to dress like a farmer! Rubber boots are a great idea as our baby farm animals are not potty trained (None of our animals are actually).
Unfortunately we need to ask your pets to stay at home. We don’t want any spats between animals! Service animals are exempt.
