Date: May 18, 2026 (Holiday Monday)

Details: Be prepared to step into something real. At Meadow Song Farms, this isn’t a staged farm visit or a petting zoo—it’s a rare invitation into the rhythm of a working farm. Rooted in traditional Mennonite stewardship, everything here is done with intention: animals raised in ways that mirror nature, land cared for with respect, and food produced the way it was meant to be—honest, nutrient-dense, and full of flavour.

On select days, we open our gates for a hands-on farm experience designed for those who want more than just a glimpse from the outside.

Your experience begins with a warm welcome before climbing aboard a hay wagon for a guided tour through rolling pastures. Watch flocks and herds grazing as they’re meant to—on open land, moving naturally—and breathe in the unmistakable freshness of spring. Along the way, ask questions, dig deeper, and see firsthand how your food is truly raised.

Then, the tone shifts from awe to pure joy.

Back at the farmstead, you’ll step into the Meadow Song Nursery—a space filled with the irresistible charm of new life. Depending on the day, you might find yourself cuddling lambs, ducklings, kittens, bunnies or other tiny arrivals. It’s unhurried, authentic, and often the highlight people talk about long after they leave.

When you’re ready to slow down, settle in under the shade of a sprawling maple tree and enjoy a homemade farmer’s meal, prepared fresh on-site (optional add-on) . Then wander through our farm market and gift shop, where you can stock up on wholesome foods and thoughtful goods that reflect the same care you’ve just experienced.

Spring is calling—from birdsong to bouncing lambs—and this is your chance to answer it.

Come dressed for the farm (rubber boots are a wise choice), bring your curiosity, and prepare to leave with a deeper connection to the land, the animals, and your food.

Please note: for the safety of our animals, pets are not permitted (service animals welcome).
