Details: Summer is fading. Days are getting cooler and the leaves are drifting down. Here is a chance to capture the moment with the folks that mean the most to you. On select days we open our arms to the public and invite you to come and gain a deeper understanding of how regenerative farming looks and where your food comes from.
The experience starts when you drive in the lane. After a warm welcome and brief introductions, we all board the wagon and hit the road to find our flocks and herds grazing all over the neighbourhood.
Somehow sitting on a wagon with the breeze in your hair seems to loosen all troubles and cares and give them to the wind. A short jaunt later we roll up to the first paddock where you sink into the lush green grass and find yourself immersed into a rustic farm setting that only animal sounds and fall colours can create.
Then comes the ultimate. The gigantic slingshot is brought to life and wild apples are launched with all the force you can muster to splatter targets hanging tantalizingly in the distant trees. In a more peaceful section of the meadow are trails wandering through the Goldenrods, Queen Annes Lace, and many more wild flowers that are beckoning you to gather them up in your arms. This bouquet is a token of the summer that was and the memories you made.
When the short but sweet hours have disappeared, it’s time to hop on the wagon again and rumble back to the home base.

Feel free to bring your own picnic lunch and lawn chairs to enjoy in a peaceful farm setting.
The best things in life are not things, they are the places we’ve been, the people we’ve met and the memories we’ve made along the way. This day will leave you with memories to savour for a lifetime.
Since the days are cooling off and the mud is reappearing, sweaters and rubber boots are wise choices. And also a container to take your wildflowers home if you are planning on picking some.
