Details: June is a time of lush growth and vibrant vigour! Our animals thrive in this environment and on this tour you get to experience what we enjoy every day as we move our flocks and herds to their fresh paddock.
The adventure starts as we board the wagon and rumble out the farm lane. Our animals are grazing on rented land all over the neighbourhood and when we arrive at each flock or herd, everyone gets to pile off the wagon and watch first hand as we open the fences to allow the animals to gallop into their fresh pasture.
When we arrive at the poultry pasture, everyone is welcome to try their hand at moving the coops. Experience the joy of turning animals onto fresh pasture for yourself!
When we arrive back at the home base, you’re on your own time! Help yourself to a homemade farmers meal, available for purchase on site, take a rest under a shade tree to the sound of farm noises or browse through Meadow Song Market, our farm store/gift shop.
Please remember to bring rubber boots, we’ll be in genuine animal pastures and they tend to leave some traces behind…
